SUBJECT: WATER PUMP FAILURES
PROBLEM: If the spraying system doesn?t work when activated, the water pump motor or the check valve may be stuck.
SOLUTION: Before removing the pump from the machine, check that the motor is running. If not, tap on the motor body to jar the motor loose. If the motor still will not turn, replace the motor (160-0663). If the motor turns but no water comes out remove the metal cover on the top of the pump and verify that the check valve is not stuck. If the check valve is stuck, remove the check valve, ensure the o-ring is properly seated in it?s groove and re-install the valve (see photo, arrow points to the o-ring on the check valve). Verify that the pump then operates correctly. If not, replace the pump head (174-6633).
