Usage:
IT38G (1CW1-UP),
950G (5FW1-UP, 2JS1-UP),
962G (7BW1-UP, 3BS1-UP) WHEEL LOADERS
Problem:
The 141-9297 Tube As. may fail due to excessive vibration on certain 938G, 950G, 962G Wheel Loaders and IT38G Tool Carriers. This tube is part of the Filter and Lines Gp - Primary Fuel. It goes from the fuel governor to the fuel filter base.
Solution:
The 141-9297 Tube As. can be replaced by a 9U2966 Hose As., with the addition of one 8C8988 Elbow (45 degree to fit on the outlet of the transfer pump) and one 6V8397 Seal (going on the added elbow). All other fittings remain unchanged.
The 9U2966 Hose As. is used on production machines starting with engine serial number 6JK02236 (effective machine serial numbers not determined yet). A later change will go back to the tube design with the addition of clips to prevent excessive tube vibration.
