New discs with stronger core material are now available for use in Large Off-Highway Truck transmissions. In heavy duty applications, the improved core material will reduce wear of the spline teeth on the friction disc and improve service life.
NOTE: The 6Y-7220 Friction Disc and 6I-8254 Friction Disc will be canceled. For all other applications, the new 169-7055 Disc Assembly will replace the former 6Y-7220 Disc Assembly.
NOTE: Parts are visually identical and must be identified by the part number markings.
Effective With: The new 158-3750, 158-3752 and 153-3753 Friction Discs are effective with 793C (4GZ115) and 798C (2BW121) and adaptable to 784B (5RK1-Up) Tractor, 785 (8GB1-Up), 785B (6HK1-Up), 789B (7EK1-Up), 789C (2BW1-Up), 793B (1HL1-Up), 793C (4AR1-Up) Off-Highway Trucks.
