Description of Change: The following components of the grain elevator are now changed from mild steel to a standard stainless steel component:
The old part numbers will no longer be stocked in the Caterpillar parts system. Only the new stainless steel parts will be stocked. Parts were changed due to the longer wear life of stainless steel components.
Adaptable To: The stainless steel parts are used on 480 (2BZ), 485 (8ZW), 460 (9FW), 465 (3HZ), and 450 (8YW) Lexion Combines.
The new parts are shown in the following illustration.
