Description of Change: A new fuse cap is now available which has improved reliability. The new fuse cap has plastic backing inside which prevents the fingers or prongs from being bent over inside the cap. Bent fingers could cause intermittent or "open" circuits on the former cap. The new fuse cap can be identified by a smooth cap surface. The former fuse cap had the words "Fuse" on it.

Adaptable To: The new 139-0178 Fuse Cap is now available to be used with the 4K-5122 Fuse Holder. The new 139-0178 Fuse Cap is a direct replacement for the former 7N-2867 Fuse Cap which will no longer be serviced. The new fuse cap is adaptable to all previous uses of the former 7N-2867 Fuse Cap.
