New Governor Weight And Race Increase Durability{1264}

Usage:


All Caterpillar Machines Powered By 3406 (11N) And 3406C (41Z) Engines

Description of Change: A new governor weight and race has replaced a former governor weight and race in the above machine engines. The new weight and race provides a wider contact area between the two parts in order to improve wear resistance for increased service life.

Adaptable To: The new 119-8699 Weight (four weights required for each governor) replaces the former 7N-7264 Weight in the governor. The new 133-8890 Race (two races required for each governor) replaces the former 7E-4892 Race in the governor. The new weight and race are effective with all 3406 (11N15877-Up) and 3406C (41Z2701-Up) Engines. The new weight and race are adaptable to first production of the above machine engines or any engine with the new scroll fuel system.


Typical Governor Group: (1) New 133-8890 Race. (2) New 119-8699 Weight.
