Description of Change: The material used to produce front wheels on trucks with wet front brakes has been changed to increase service life.
Adaptable To: A new material used in the 138-9312 Front Wheel will increase the service life attainable by the former 8X-4038 Front Wheel. The new 138-9312 Front Wheel is a direct replacement for the former 8X-4038 Front Wheel in the 8X-6474 Front Wheel Group (not serviced) effective with the 777D (3PR164) and is adaptable to all earlier 777D (3PR1-163) and 777C (4XJ1-up) Off-Highway Trucks. This front wheel replacement is also adaptable to 7I-5063 Front Wheel Groups (not serviced) in all 777B (4YL1-up) and 777C (4XJ1-up) Off-Highway Trucks.
