Guide Assemblies From Body Mounting Group Are No Longer Necessary On The Truck Rails To Reduce Stresses In The Frame {7258}

Usage:

771C (3BJ),
771D (6JR),
775B (7XJ),
775D (6KR) Quarry Trucks;
769C (01X),
769D (5TR),
773B (63W),
773D (7ER),
777B (4YC),
777C (4XJ),
777D (3PR) Trucks

The guide assemblies from the body mounting group are no longer necessary on the truck rails to reduce stresses in the frame.

This change is adaptable to all earlier machines ONLY IF stresses develop due to guide assemblies coming in contact with the body assembly.

NOTE: 771D and 775D Quarry Trucks, 769D, 773D and 777D Trucks are not equipped with the guide assemblies.

Typical view of location of the guide assemblies (1).

To remove guide assemblies from both sides of the rails, measure 25.4 mm (1.00 in) (A) from the bottom surface of the guide assemblies. Use welding torch at the 25.4 mm (1.00 in) (A) mark to cut out the top portion of the guide assemblies.
