The November'95 release of VIMS onboard software that turns on prognostics and resetable totals has an error relating to ONLY the 789B truck configurations.

The error relates to the PAYLOAD RESETABLE CUMM displayed when entering "TOT" (or "868") on the keypad followed by the "OK" key. Refer to the Service Manual SENR6059-02 on page 32. The value shown on the message center for TOTAL PAYLOAD may update erratically.

The chart lists the affected 789B serial numbers, the former configuration software, and the new configuration software. The new part numbers have cancelled and replaced the former part numbers. The new part numbers are now serviced.

NOTE: The source code part number (130-1345) has not changed.

If your records do not agree with this list, it is vital that you contact 1-800-882-7221 and find out why. Having the corrected software, provides the advantage of the latest available changes.
