The following procedure will require the use of a special tool, the 127-8073 Alignment Gauge. This tool is available through parts service.
1. Start by installing the articulation frame lockpin.
2. Center the articulation of the machine by adjusting to center of the frame lockpin free play.
Component location. (1) Alignment gauge. (2) Sender. (3) Nut. (4) Plate assembly.
3. Loosen the nut (3) to allow the sender (2) to be moved.
4. Install the alignment gauge (1) on top of the sender (2) so the alignment guage is engaged in the plate assembly (4), no tools will be needed.
5. Adjust the sender with the alignment guage in place until the articulation guage in the cab is centered.
6. Tighten the nut (3) on the bottom of the sender.
7. Finish by checking the guage in the cab for full range.
