Description of Change: New idler gear assemblies are used in the rear gear groups on the engines in these machines. The idler gear assemblies have an increased interference fit between the gears in the assemblies. This reduces the possibility of slippage between the gears in the assemblies.

Adaptable To: The new 107-2477 Idler Gear Assembly is a direct replacement for 4P-5441 Idler Gear Assembly in the 116-9856 and 112-5674 Rear Gear Groups. The 116-9856 Rear Gear Group is used in 785 (8GB) Trucks and 994 (9YF) Wheel Loaders. The 112-5674 Rear Gear Group is used in 784B (5RK) Tractors, 785 (8GB), 785B (6HK), 789 (9ZC), and 789B (7EK) Trucks.
The new 114-3372 Idler Gear Assembly is a direct replacement for the 101-1381 Idler Gear Assembly in the 101-0835 Rear Gear Group. The 101-0835 Rear Gear Group is used in 785B (6HK), and 789 (9ZC) Trucks and 994 (9YF) Wheel Loaders.
