Caterpillar Standards for Electrical Schematics{1400}

Usage:

Caterpillar's policy in recent years has been to provide our electrical schematics in color on durable oil and tear resistant paper. They are normally complete with wire number lists, harness connector and component locations. For high demand, current and new product this is the type of schematic the dealer's expect and we intend to provide now and in the future. Due to incomplete information at the time of a new product introduction we sometimes provide a temporary black and white schematic with or without the supporting charts. These are intended to be temporary for high demand machines and will be replaced by a complete color schematic when information is available. Due to the high costs of the color printing process we do not (as a matter of course) produce non-current (or low demand) product electrical schematics in color, however we are reprinting on the oil and tear resistant paper as reprints are required.
