New Wheel Rim Assembly Provides Clearance Between The Brake Caliper And Valve Stem For Inflation{4201,4202}

Description of Change: A new wheel rim assembly is being used that provides clearance between the brake caliper and valve stem used for inflating the tire.

Adaptable To: The new 110-4211 Rim Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 2G-9811 Rim Assembly. The new 110-4211 Rim Assembly is effective with 768C (02X400) Tractor, 769C (01X6600) Truck and 771C (3BJ200) Quarry Truck.

The former 2G-9811 Rim must be modified if it is to be used on a new machine with the larger disc brake caliper. Use the following method and dimensions to modify the former 2G-9811 Rim for use on new machines.

1. Obtain a 124-4128 Plug. Install the plug in the original hole for the valve stem. Do Not attempt to plug the hole by welding.

2. Drill an new hole for the valve stem approximately 180 degrees from the original hole for the valve stem. The dimensions for the hole are given in the chart.
