New Inlet And Exhaust Valves Have Thinner Heads{1105}

Usage:

Caterpillar Machines Powered By 3406C, 3408C, 3412C Engines

Description of Change: The maximum valve head thickness of the new exhaust valve and the new inlet valve has been reduced by 0.146 mm (.0057 in). The "use again" thickness for the valve lip remains the same. Refer to the Specifications module in the service manual.

Adaptable To: The new 115-2367 Exhaust Valve is a direct replacement for the former 106-1111 Exhaust Valve. The new 115-2368 Inlet Valve is a direct replacement for the former 108-5902 Inlet Valve. The former valves are canceled. The new inlet and exhaust valves are effective with 3406C Machine Engine (11N11329), 3408C Machine Engine (48W38130), and 3412C Machine Engine (73W16055).
