Description of Change: New screen assembly installed integral with rear wheel bearing shim pack prevents large debris from transferring into the differential compartment.

Adaptable To: The new screen assemblies usage are listed in the chart below. The new components are effective with 784B (5RK16) Tractor; 785B (6HK364), 789B (7EK283), and 793B (1HL184, 185, 208 and 211-Up) Off-Highway Trucks and can be installed on earlier machines.

NOTE: The screen assemblies fit between wheel bearing shim pack and the wheel bearing plate. Install screen assemblies (1) with raised lip (plate ID) against the wheel bearing retainer plate. The shim pack should contact the screen side of the screen plate. Shim pack thickness must be adjusted for the thickness of the screen plate [0.74 mm (.029 in)].
