New Bearing Housing Used In Turbocharger Group {1056,1052}
Usage:
789 (9ZC),
789B (7EK) Trucks
Description of Change: A new bearing housing is used in the turbocharger group on the engines in the above machines. The new bearing housing eliminates the need for a turbine end shroud. With the shroud removed, the turbine end joint will include only two components instead of three. This will result in a more reliable bearing housing-to-turbine housing joint.
Adaptable To: The new 7E-9493 Bearing Housing replaces the former 7C-4706 Bearing Housing and eliminates the need for 1N-3751 Turbine Wheel Shroud in the 7E-9497 Turbocharger Group and the 9Y-8267 Cartridge Group.
