--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------
The transmission clutch primary pressure for the No. 5 clutch (Station F) has been increased. The new pressure is 414 +35, -15 kPa (60 +7, -5 psi) with the engine at low idle. The former pressure setting was 313 kPa (45 psi).
By increasing the transmission primary pressure, less time will be needed to fill the No. 5 clutch which will allow clutch modulation to start sooner.
NOTE: This pressure increase applies only to the 8E-3840 Control Valve Group used in 793 and 793B Trucks.
