New Gears Reduce Noise And Pipe Plugs Make Installation Easier In Auxiliary Drive Group{1150,1165}

Usage:

D11N (4HK, 74Z) Tractors;
793 (3SJ),
793B (1HL) Trucks;
5130 (7TJ, 5ZL),
5230 (7LL) Excavators

Description of Change: New gears have been added to the rear auxiliary drive group. The new gears help to reduce the noise generated from the gear train. If the engine is exceeding noise level standards, new gears can be installed to reduce the overall noise generated by the engine.

New pipe plugs have also been added to the auxiliary drive group. The new plugs are coated with a special material. This coating makes installation easier and helps retain the plugs in the housing assembly.

Location of new auxiliary drive group (Rear) components. 7X-7731 Pipe Plug (1). 8T-6757 Pipe Plug (2). 107-8748 Auxiliary Drive Gear (3). 107-8749 Auxiliary Drive Gear (4).

Adaptable To: The new components in the 2W-8364, 7E-6620, and 9Y-8899 Auxiliary Drive Groups are identified in the illustration and chart. The new components are direct replacements for the former components. The former auxiliary drive gears are canceled.
