New Exhaust Flex Hose Used To Avoid Leaks From System Vibration{1058}

Usage:

Challenger 65C (2ZJ),
Challenger 70C (2YL),
Challenger 75C (4KK),
Challenger 85C (9TK) Agricultural Tractors

Description of Change: This article supersedes the article "New Air Intake Flex Hose Used To Avoid Leaks From System Vibration" in May 9, 1994 Service Magazine.

A new flex hose can be used for the exhaust systems. This flex hose provides longer service life since it can remain connected during system vibration. The current flex hose has a tendency to corrode, loose flexibility and crack. These charateristics, combined with vibration during normal operation, lead to hose leakage.

Adaptable To: The 5N-4742 Flex Hose (A, Illustrations 1 and 2) is a direct replacement for the current 100-3923 Hose.

The new flex hose is effective with Challenger 65C (2ZJ617), 70C (2YL253), 75C (4KK700), 85C (9TK332) Agricultural Tractors.

The new flex hose is adaptable to all earlier Challenger 65C, 70C, 75C, 85C Agricultural Tractors.
