New Bolts In The Torque Converter Group Improve Serviceability{3101}

Description of Change: Ten bolts with 12 point heads are now being used in the torque converter thrust bearing support. The bolts with 12 point heads will provide additional clearance between the bolt heads for the thrust bearing race and bolt heads for the support assembly. The increased clearance will make sure there is adequate clearance for a standard socket wrench when servicing the torque converter.

Adaptable To: The ten 6K-3771 Bolts are a direct replacement for ten 0T-0772 Bolts in the torque converter group. The new 6K-3771 Bolts use the same 3K-6113 Washers that were used with the former bolts.

NOTE: The two remaining 0T-0772 Bolts and 4D-6433 Washers which hold the thrust bearing race in position did not change.
