Description of Change: The differential carrier pilot diameter was increased to reduce joint flexing and bolt loosening. Additional puller holes have been added to assist in the installation and removal of the differential carrier from the rear axle housing.
Adaptable To: The new carriers are listed in the chart below and are effective with 784B (5RK14) Tractor; 785B (6HK274), 789B (7EK244) and 793B (1HL128) Trucks. The change is adaptable to all 785 (8GB), 789 (9ZC), 793 (3SJ) Trucks; 784B (5RK1-13) Tractors; 785B (6HK1-273), 789B (7EK1-243) and 793B (1HL1-127) Trucks.
