Description of Change: On new production machines, the 3E-7295 Alternator (55 amp) has been replaced with 105-2812 Alternator (55 amp). The 9X-0341 Alternator (90 amp) has been replaced with a 105-2813 Alternator (90 amp). The earlier alternators have push-on spade terminals and connect to the 9R-8621 Engine Harness. The new alternators have push-on molded connectors and connect to the 109-6444 Engine Harness.
Adaptable To: The new alternators are effective with 416B (8SG4567, 8ZK1082), 426B (5YJ1154), 436B (6MJ522), 428B (7EJ2248), and 438B (3KK992) Backhoe Loaders. When replacing an alternator on earlier machines, replace with the same part number removed. When upgrading the 55 amp 3E-7295 Alternator to a 90 amp, use the 9X-0341 Alternator. When upgrading the new 55 amp 105-2812 Alternator to a 90 amp, use 105-2813 Alternator.
