Description of Change: Push roller groups installed on early model asphalt pavers use sleeve-type bushings between the roller and roller shaft. The former bushing is discontinued and now is serviced by a different bushing.
Adaptable To: The new 2K-8196 Bushing is a direct service replacement for the former 8C-2117 Bushing (canceled) for the models listed above. The new bushing has a slightly smaller outside diameter; therefore, the bushing may not have a press fit into the inner diameter of the roller. When replacing the bushings with the new 2K-8196 Bushing, install them using 7M-7456 Bearing Mount according to the instructions given on the container.
