Usage:
1. Put the hoods in the "OPEN" position.
2. Remove pipe (1) from the manifold assembly and pipe.
3. Fasten a hoist to the pipe as shown.
4. Remove bolts (5) that hold the bracket assembly to the aftercooler cover. Remove pipe (2) and elbows (3) and (4) from the engine as a unit. The weight of the pipe and elbows is 23 kg (50 lb).
5. Remove pipes (6) and (7) from the turbochargers. Remove the O-ring seals from the pipes.
6. Fasten a hoist to the manifold assembly. Remove bolts (8) that hold the manifold assembly to the steering system hydraulic tank and fender. Remove manifold assembly (9) and air cleaners. the weight of the manifold assembly and air cleaners is 84 kg (185 lb).
Install Air Lines Group
1. Fasten a hoist to the manifold assembly and air cleaners. Put manifold assembly (1) and air cleaners in position on the fender and steering system hydraulic tank. Install the bolts that hold them.
2. Install O-ring seals (4) on the pipes. Put a small amount of clean SAE 30W oil on the O-ring seals.
3. Install elbows (2) and (3) on the turbochargers.
4. Fasten a hoist to the pipe and elbows. Put pipe (5) and elbows (6) and (7) in position on the aftercooler cover and pipes. Install the bolts that hold the bracket assembly to the aftercooler cover
5. Install Pipe (8) on the pipe and manifold assembly.
6. Put hoods in the "CLOSED" position.
