O-Ring Seals Of A Different Material Are Now Used On The Outside Diameter Of The Servo Cylinder In Governors

3408 and 3412 Engines
Description of Change: O-ring seals of a different material are now used on the outside diameter of the servo cylinders in Caterpillar-built governors on 3408 and 3412 Engines. The material in the new O-ring seal has more resistance to high temperatures than the material in the former seal.
Adaptable As: The new 5P5601 O-Ring Seal is a direct replacement for the former 5D6539 O-Ring seal in this application.
