Stronger Fuel Inlet Flanges Prevent Parts Damage And Keeps Air Out Of The Fuel System

Description of Change: New fuel inlet flanges that are made of aluminum are used on top of the fuel injection pump of 3208 Engines. The new aluminum flanges are stronger than the former powdered-metal flanges. Formerly, it was possible for the powdered-metal flanges to crack during installation. A crack in the flange will let air get into the fuel system. Air in the fuel system will cause the engine to run rough.
Adaptable As: Direct replacement as shown in the chart.
