Cylinder Block Has New Cover With An Oil Return Connection For Rockford Fan Drive

All 3406 Truck Engines
Description of Change: On the right side of the cylinder block of 3406 Truck Engines, a flange with a 3/8 in NPTF hole is now used to provide a connection for the oil return line on the Rockford Fan Drive. Formerly, a cover which did not have a hole through it was used at this location. The Rockford Fan Drive is used by some on-highway trucks.
Adaptable As: The new parts, used together, are adaptable to all earlier 3406 Truck Engines.
