Improved Water Separator Element And Retaining Clamp Stops Fuel Leakage

Usage:

All 3208, 3304, and 3306 Engines Equipped With Sleeve Metering Fuel Systems

Description of Change: Improvements have been made to the 7N950 Water Separator Group used on the above engines. To prevent fuel leakage between the water separator element and the element base, the spring force of the element retaining clamp has been increased to hold the element tighter against the base. The rubber grommet in the water separator element has been made thicker to give a better seal between the element and the base.

Adaptable To: The improved 6N7617 Element and 6N7618 Clamp are direct replacements for the former element and clamp. The part numbers for the element and clamp did not change.
