Description of Change: A new piston seal is used in 139.7 mm (5.50") hydraulic cylinders on the above models. The new seal maintains its shape better under pressure than the former seal. This provides longer seal life and less leakage.
Adaptable As: The new 4T5173 Seal Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 8J8767 Seal Assembly, which is still serviced for other applications. New seal repair kits, with the new seal, are also available for the various cylinders using the new seal. See chart.
