Note: The fuel filter elements can be serviced or replaced without removing the entire filter and base assembly from the machine.

Personal injury or death can result from a fire. Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. Clean up all leaked or spilled fuel. Do not smoke while working on the fuel system. Turn the disconnect switch OFF or disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters. |
- Turn the fuel supply to the OFF position.

- Use two people to remove filter base assembly (14). Filter base assembly (14) weighs approximately
40 kg (88 lb) . - Remove bolts (13) and filter base assembly (14).

- Install filter base assembly (14) and filter elements (9) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten pressure sensors (18) to a torque of
13 ± 3 N·m (115 ± 27 lb in) . - Apply Tooling (A) to the outside seal of filter elements (9).
- Hand tighten filter housings (10) to mechanical stop. Do not exceed a torque of
237 N·m (175 lb ft) .
- Tighten pressure sensors (18) to a torque of
