Removal Procedure

Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.

Personal injury can result from hot oil spray and raised work tools. Make sure all the work tools have been lowered, the oil is cool and the pressure has been released from the hydraulic system before removing any components or lines. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.

1. Drain transmission oil into a suitable container.

2. Remove bolts (1) and disconnect hose assembly (2).

3. Remove bolts (5) and disconnect hose assembly (6).

   Note: Remove the spacer flange with hose assembly (6).

4. Attach a suitable lifting device to the transmission charge pump (4). The weight of transmission charge pump (4) is approximately 29.7 kg (65.5 lb). Remove nuts (3). Remove transmission charge pump (4).

Installation Procedure

1. Install transmission charge pump (4) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Install nuts (3). Torque nuts (3) to 227 ± 10 N·m (167.5 ± 7.5 lb ft).
