- Disconnect harness assembly (1), harness assembly (2), and hose assemblies (3). Cap hose assemblies (3) with Tooling (A).

- Remove DEF injector assembly (5) and gasket (4). Discard gasket (4) and seal (6) from DEF injector assembly (5).

- Install DEF injector assembly (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Note: To maintain cleanliness, the protective caps must remain in place until the final fluid connections are made.
Note: Install gasket (4) so the metal is toward the Diesel Exhaust Filter Group.
- Replace gasket (4) with a new gasket. Replace seal (6) with a new seal.
- Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (3).
- Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of
5.0 ± 0.5 N·m (44 ± 4 lb in) . - Retighten bolts (3) to a torque of
5.0 ± 0.5 N·m (44 ± 4 lb in) . Turn an extra 90°±5°.
