Untuk memaksimalkan kinerja engine, periksa sabuk poly-v (1) untuk melihat adanya keausan dan retakan. Ganti sabuk poly-v jika sabuk aus atau rusak.
- Periksa sabuk poly-v (1) untuk melihat adanya retakan, belahan, kilap, gemuk pelumas, pergeseran kawat, dan tanda kontaminasi cairan.
Sabuk poly-v harus diganti jika kondisi berikut muncul.
- Sabuk poly-v (1) retak di lebih dari satu rusuk.
- Lebih dari satu bagian sabuk poly-v bergeser satu rusuk dengan panjang maksimum
50.8 mm (2 inch) .
Untuk mengganti sabuk poly-v, lihat Pembongkaran dan Perakitan, "Sabuk Alternator - Pelepasan dan Pemasangan". Bila perlu, ganti tensioner sabuk. Rujuk ke Pembongkaran dan Perakitan, "Sabuk Alternator - Pelepasan dan Pemasangan" untuk prosedur yang benar.
