A New Fuel Gas Valve Is Used For Certain G3500 Engines {1270, 1408, 1741}

Usage:

G3520B GLF
Engine:
G3508B (S/N: RBK1-UP)
G3512B (S/N: JHH1-UP)
G3512E (S/N: SSR1-UP; NGS1-UP)
G3516B (S/N: JEF1-UP)
G3520B (S/N: GLF1-UP)
G3520E (S/N: GZE1-UP)
Petroleum Engine:
G3520B PETROLEUM (S/N: TPC1-UP)

Description of Change: The new fuel gas valve has an improved wiring harness connector and sensor box breather to resolve moisture issues. Improvements have also been made to the valve shaft bearing alignment and surface.

Adaptable To:

453-6077 Gas Control Valve

The new 453-6077 Gas Control Valve replaces the previous 418-7744 Gas Control Valve. The 453-6077 Gas Control Valve also requires the use of two of the 452-2248 Gaskets .

Torque the bolts used for the inlet and outlet flanges to 215 ± 40 N·m (160 ± 30 lb ft).
