Engine Oil Cooler - Assemble

Usage:

XQC1200 N1G

Assembly Procedure

  1. Position the gasket onto bonnet (21). Install bonnet (21) and install bolts (20).

  2. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean unused engine oil and install the O-ring seal onto manifold (19). Install manifold (19) and install bolts (18).

  3. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean unused engine oil and install the O-ring seal onto tube (17), then install tube (17). Position clamp (16) and snug bolts (14). Install and tighten bolts (15), then tighten bolts (14).

  4. Install bypass valve (13).

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.

    To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.

  5. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean unused engine oil and install the O-ring seal to cap (12). Install the spring, then install cap (12) and bolts (11).

  6. Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean unused engine oil. Install manifold (10) and install bolts (9). Position clamp (7) and snug bolts (6). Install and tighten bolts (8), then tighten bolts (6).

  7. Position the gasket onto bonnet (4). Install bonnet (4) and install bolts (3). Lubricate the O-ring seal and install tube (5).

  8. Lubricate the O-ring seals and install tube (1). Install elbow (2).

End By:

  1. Install the engine oil cooler.
