Engine Oil Cooler - Disassemble

Usage:

XQC1200 N1G

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the engine oil cooler.

  1. Remove elbow (2) and the O-ring seal. Remove tube (1) and the O-ring seal.

  2. Remove tube (5) and O-ring seal. Remove bolts (3) and bonnet (4). Remove the gasket.

  3. Loosen bolts (6). Remove bolts (8) and position clamp (7) out of the way. Remove bolts (9) and remove manifold (10). Remove the O-ring seals.

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.

    Spring force will be released when covers are removed.

    Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.

  4. Remove bolts (11) and remove cap (12). Remove the bypass spring and the O-ring seal.

  5. Remove bypass valve (13).

  6. Loosen bolts (14). Remove bolts (15) and position clamp (16) out of the way. Remove tube (17) and the O-ring seal.

  7. Remove bolts (18) and manifold (19).

  8. Remove bolts (20) and bonnet (21). Remove the gasket.
