PS1 and PS2 Power Supplies

The PS1 and PS2 24 VDC power supplies are located in the right panel of the SIO cabinet. The power supplies convert 480 V input into 24 V output. The front or left supply is the PS1. The rear or right supply is the PS2.

Removal

1. Refer to Systems Operation, Test and Adjust, UENR4695, "Internal Component Pre-Removal Steps". Perform the internal component pre-removal procedure to shut down the system and to gain access to internal components.

2. Remove the seven wires that are connected to the power supply:

   • PS1-13

   • PS1-14

   • PS1+

   • PS1-

   • PS1-L

   • PS1-N

   • PS1-GND

3. Remove the two screws that attach the power supply to the panel.

4. Remove power supply from cabinet.

Installation

1. Install the power supply, on the left panel, in the original location that the supply was removed from.

2. Attach the power supply to the left panel with two screws.

3. Attach the eight cables to the power supply.
