The K1 input contactor is located behind the right door panel in the SIO cabinet. K1 opens and closes utility inputs from the line static switch.
- Refer to Systems Operation, Test and Adjust, UENR4695, "Internal Component Pre-Removal Steps". Perform the internal component pre-removal procedure to shut down the system and to gain access to internal components.
The SIO cabinet must be de-energized before removal steps can be performed.
Note: The contactors are heavy. Exercise caution when removing the last bolt so the contactor does not fall and damage components or personnel.
- Disconnect the four 7/16 inch bolts attaching the contactor to the panel.
- Remove auxiliary cables.
- Disconnect the six 3/4 inch fuse mount bolts from the input/outputs.
- Remove the contactor from the cabinet.
- Position the contactor.
- Attach the six 3/4 inch fuse mount bolts to the input/outputs.
- Connect auxiliary cables.
- Connect the four 7/16 inch bolts that attach the contactor to the panel.

The K2 output contactor is located behind the left door panel in the SIO cabinet. K2 opens and closes the utility output to the line and filter inductor.
- Refer to Systems Operation, Test and Adjust, UENR4695, "Internal Component Pre-Removal Steps". Perform the internal component pre-removal procedure to shut down the system and to gain access to internal components.
The SIO cabinet must be de-energized before removal steps can be performed.

- Disconnect the four 9/16 inch bolts that attach the contactor to the panel.
- Remove the auxiliary cables.
- Disconnect the six 3/4 inch fuse mount bolts from the input/outputs.
- Remove the contactor from the cabinet.
- Position the contactor.
- Attach the six 3/4 inch fuse mount bolts from the input/outputs.
- Connect auxiliary cables.
- Connect the four 9/16 inch bolts that attach the contactor to the panel.
