Semiconductor Fuses

The 1250 amp semiconductor fuses are located behind the left door panel of the SIO cabinet.

Removal

1. Refer to Systems Operation, Test and Adjust, UENR4695, "Internal Component Pre-Removal Steps". Perform the internal component pre-removal procedure to shut down the system and to gain access to internal components.

   Note: The system must be shut down before removal steps can be performed.

2. Remove the 3/4 inch mounting bolts for the fuses.

   Note: There are two bolts for each fuse.

3. Remove each fuse from the cabinet.

Installation

1. Position the fuse inside the cabinet.

2. Install the 3/4 inch bolts to secure each fuse to the cabinet.
