The new exhaust gasket is also adaptable to first production of the above engines.

Description of Change: A new star-burst perforated steel core is now contained in all exhaust manifold gaskets used for the above engines. The new design will provide longer service life to the gaskets.

Adaptable To: The new 129-9453 Exhaust Gasket directly replaces former 101-0148 Exhaust Gasket effective on the 3406E Truck Engine (5EK73444-Up) and the 3406C Truck Engine (8PN08345-Up).
