When performing a camshaft repair on 3406E Truck Engines with serial numbers below 5EK55088, a camshaft conversion kit should be used. For truck engines with 410 hp or less, use the 0R-8244 Conversion Kit. For truck engines with 435 hp or more, use the 0R-8250 Conversion Kit.
