Personality Module Covers On Electronic Control Modules (ECM'S){1902}

3406E (5EK) Truck Engines

The 117-4017 or 118-7631 ECM'S on 3406E (5EK66040-67722) and 3176B (9CK27628-27879) Truck Engines have removeable personality module covers. Although the personality module cover can be removed, the personality module itself cannot be removed (these are Flash-only ECM'S). The 117-4017 and 118-7631 ECM'S on engines built after the ranges listed above no longer have a removeable personality module cover.
