Rocker Arm - Disassemble

Usage:

C280-08 J4R

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the rocker shaft and pushrod.


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

  1. Remove bolts (2) and the washers from rocker arm shaft (1).

  2. Put identification marks on all of the components for assembly purposes.

  3. Remove the bolts and plate (4) from one end of rocker arm shaft (1).

  4. Remove rocker arms (3) from rocker arm shaft (1).

    Note: The O-ring seals hold buttons (5) in place on the rocker arms.

  5. Remove buttons (5). Remove the O-ring seal from buttons (5).
