New Engine Oil Filter for C3.4B Engines {1308}

- C3.4B (S/N: CJG1-1722)
Description of Change: A new engine oil filter and O-ring have been introduced.
Adaptable To: New 441-6852 Filter replaces 374-0619 Filter .
For the correct procedure to install the new engine oil filter and O-ring follow step 1 through to step 3.
- Clean sealing surface (1) .

- Apply clean engine oil to the new O-ring seal (2) on the new engine oil filter.
- Install the engine oil filter, spin on the oil filter until the O-ring seal contacts the oil filter base. Then, rotate the oil filter ? of a full turn, by hand only.

Do not fill the oil filters with oil before installing them. This oil would not be filtered and could be contaminated. Contaminated oil can cause accelerated wear to engine components. |
