New Injection Assemblies Are Equipped with Flow Indicators for Certain Retrofit Selective Catalytic Reduction Systems {108I}

Usage:

- ES7
Emission Solutions:
SCR (S/N: ES71-UP)

The new injection assemblies are adaptable to the above Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems back to first production.

The change is effective with ES700323 retrofit SCR systems, and with all new replacement injection assemblies.

(1) Injection assembly

(2) Reactor mounting flange

(3) Indicator notches

Retrofit SCR Systems use various designs. The nozzle on the injection assembly (1) must be pointed in the direction of the exhaust flow. New SCR systems are equipped with indicator notches (3) on the injection assembly (1) and the reactor mounting flange (2) in order to indicate the proper installation orientation.

When replacing an injection assembly, note the orientation of the existing injection assembly. Then mark the reactor mounting flange (2) where the new injector assembly indicator notch (3) will be positioned. Various lengths of injection assemblies are available. Use the correct length for the specific SCR design.
