- Remove the inlet and exhaust valves.

- Remove seals (1) from valve guides (2).

- Apply clean engine oil to both the outside and the inside diameter of the valve guide. Position the valve guides into the cylinder head. Tap on the top of the valve guides. This action is done to start the inlet valve guides and exhaust valve guides into the cylinder head assembly.
- Use Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) to install the valve guides. Position Tooling (C) across the valve cover base sealing surface. Take a measurement from the top of the valve guide to the bottom of the straight edge. The measurement will be called Distance (C). Distance (X) should be
