Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat® ET) 2013A Change to the Injector Trim File Error Message {0785}

The Cat ET 2013A has been released.
Effective with Cat ET 2013A, the error message related to injector trim file compatibility now reads more clearly. Illustration 1 shows the old message and illustration 2 shows the new message.

Error: The injector trim file is not compatible with the engine. Verify that the serial number of the trim file matches the serial number of the injector installed in the engine. If the serial number do not match, locate the correct trim file and try again. If the serial number do match, the injector is not compatible with the ECM software. Install a compatible injector and try again. | |
