先导安全阀 (2) 位于先导油歧管上，主控制阀下面。 先导安全阀限制先导系统中的压力。 先导安全阀的设定可以调节。
先导油从先导泵流向进口 (1) 。 当先导油系统中的压力达到先导卸压阀 (2) 的压力设定时，部分先导油流经过端口 (3) 流回液压油箱。 先导油回路中的先导油压力等于先导安全阀的压力设定。
