A New Hose Assembly Is Used for the Duplex Fuel Filters on Certain 3516B Engines {1261}

Description of Change: The new hose assembly has different installation geometry and the new hose assembly is made from a more durable material than the former hose assembly. The new hose assembly has an improved service life.
Adaptable To:
The new 379-0210 Hose As replaces the 9G-2653 Hose As on the above engines. The 9G-2653 Hose As is not canceled.
The new 379-0210 Hose As is adaptable to the above engines back to first production.
The new 379-0210 Hose As is effective with serial number TAK00016.
Installation Instructions
- Disconnect hose assembly (1) from the flared reducers (2) at each end of the hose assembly. Remove flared reducers (2) .

- Rotate elbow (3) for 90 degrees in the counterclockwise direction as shown in Illustration 2.

- Rotate elbow (4) for -30 degrees from vertical as shown in Illustration 2.
- Install hose (5). Upon final installation, make sure that the hose has no contact or interference with any other object.
