  2. Attach a suitable lifting device to exhaust manifold (4). The weight of exhaust manifold (4) is approximately 75 kg (165 lb).

  3. Install new exhaust manifold gaskets (6) and position exhaust manifold (4) onto the cylinder head. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (5). Install bolts (5) and tighten to a torque of 50 ± 5 N·m (37 ± 4 lb ft). Tighten bolts (5) again to a torque of 50 ± 5 N·m (37 ± 4 lb ft).

  4. Install sleeves (3) and manifold (2), if necessary. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (1). Install bolts (1) and tighten to a torque of 55 ± 5 N·m (41 ± 4 lb ft).

End By:

  1. Install the air inlet manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Inlet Manifold - Remove and Install".

  2. Install the exhaust elbows. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Exhaust Elbow - Remove and Install".
